    1. Payment:
      1. Method of payment available to customers:
        1. *Credit Card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover
        2. *PayPal – a PayPal request will be sent to the e-mail on file
          *Orders will not ship until payment is received or terms have been established*
  2. Freight Policy
    1. Shipping Terms:
      1. A selection of shipping options is available during checkout.
      2. Orders containing aerosols or other restricted shipping items are only allowed to ship Standard UPS Ground.
  3. Ordering
    1. Phone Orders:
      1. Phone orders can be placed between the hours of 8:30am & 5:00pm EST at 1-800-264-9472. Telephone orders should be followed up with a confirming Fax or e-mail copy.
    2. Fax Orders:
      1. Customer may fax orders TOLL FREE direct to Design Engineering, Inc. at (877) 934-0067 and Canadian and local Fax (440) 930-7967.

    5. Shipping:
      1. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to process and ship orders, however every attempt will be made to ship all orders sooner.
  4. Backorders
    1. Holding Backorders:
      1. It is our policy to hold backorders, unless the customer advises to cancel backorders. Please notify us either by phone or email should you need to cancel a backorder.
      2. Backorders will be shipped as soon as possible. All backorders in the contiguous lower 48 will be shipped free freight.
  5. Shortages Due to Shipping
    1. Claims:
      1. Always check the condition and item count against the invoice or packing slip. DEI will issue credit to the customer and submit a claim to the carrier providing customer notifies DEI within two business days of the shortage/damage.
  6. Returns/Shipping Errors
    1. General:
      1. Any returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) issued by the Returns Department. You can submit requests for RGA numbers to
      2. Please package the merchandise so it will arrive at the factory in the condition that it was shipped.
      3. All returns must be shipped prepaid. In the case of warranty or shipping errors, a credit will be issued for the freight.
    2. Ordering and Shipping Errors:
      1. Errors are required to be reported within two business days. Merchandise should be returned only after receiving written authorization and an RGA number. Please note on the packing slip, the RGA #, the order number and date, along with the invoice number (if available) and date of the packing slip. Again, please ship prepaid, indicate assigned RGA # on each carton and include a copy of the freight bill and packing slip.
    3. Warranty / Defective Returns:
      1. Design Engineering, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year unless noted otherwise. Merchandise claimed defective should be inspected by the Design Engineering, Inc. representative. Representative will request an RGA # and provide shipping instructions. Issuance of an RGA # does not guarantee that credit will be issued or product will be replaced, but simply authorizes the return of the part(s) for inspection and possible credit replacement.
      2. Defectives must be returned prepaid and accompanied by a copy of the packing slip with the RGA # clearly written on the packing slip and each carton.
      3. When determination has been made, and if the product is in fact found to be defective, credit will be issued at the net acquisition price, plus the return freight charges or product will be replaced.

Design Engineering, Inc.’s email acknowledgement of an order means that your order request has been received via our automated system; it does not mean that your order has been accepted or shipped, or that the price or availability of an item has been confirmed. Design Engineering, Inc. makes a conscientious effort to describe and display its products and services accurately on the Site. Despite these efforts, although rare, issues can occur. These include mispriced or inaccurately described items, product availability, and we may experience delays in updating information on the Site or in advertising on other sites. As a result, we cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We apologize for any inconvenience. Design Engineering, Inc. reserves the right to change or update pricing and information at any time without prior notice. As part of our shipping procedures, we verify the availability and the price before an item is shipped. If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, if the item is no longer available, or if we determine that there were inaccuracies in our product information, we will notify you of such issue via an email.
